I’m a tall girl, so squats, hip thrusts, and other bar work are a must! The problem is that every time I set that bar on my shoulders I come away bruised or covered in scratches. Worse, if I lift anything heavy, my back aches all day.
Sure I’ll use foam pads when the gym has them - but they rarely work. They are either too thin, old and gross (people sweat all over it!), or worn through so badly I’d be better off not using it at all.
